"Further, members of castes such as the Physicians and Builders use the fairs for the dissemination of information and techniques among Caste Brothers, as is prescribed in their codes in spite of the fact that their respective cities may be hostile." (Priest-Kings of Gor)

1. The Physicians Caste of Port Kar (PCoPK) are those Physicians who are citizens and registered to practice medicine within Port Kar. Together, these Physicians determine and weigh standards of medical care within Port Kar.
2. Any disputes or complaints against a healer within the City of Port Kar will be subject to review by the PCoPK. A hearing will proceed, in which any member of the PCoPK may voice their opinion. Hearings will generally be convened for reasons such as:
- Malpractice
- Refusing to treat a citizen without due cause
- Violations of "Do no harm."
Punishments for a returned guilty verdict can range from mandatory apprenticeships and suspensions to expulsion for more egregious offenses.
3. All members are entitled to a vote on caste matters so long as they have been in the organization for at least four months (one month RT).
4. A free women of the Caste of Physicians, upon the age of majority, wears two bracelets on her left wrist. When she has one child, one bracelet is removed; when she has a second child the second bracelet is removed. She may then, if she desires, enter in to the full practice of her craft within the scope that Caste Guidelines permit. This includes electing for a specialty and having her own practice when her apprenticeship is complete. This custom ensures the future of our Caste, because the intensity of learning the craft of the Physicians is extensive and demanding to the point whereby procreation feasibly falls by the wayside.
"A notable exception to the generalization that women of a given caste normally do not engage in caste work is the caste of Physicians, whose women are commonly trained, as are the boys, in the practice of medicine. Even the physicians, however, normally do not admit their women to full practice until they have borne two children. The purpose of this is to retain a high level of intelligence in the caste. Professional women, it is well understood, tend not to reproduce themselves, a situation which, over time, would be likely to produce a diminution in the quality of the caste. Concern for the future of the caste is thus evidenced in this limitation by the physicians on the rights of their women to participate without delay in the caste craft. The welfare of the caste, typically, takes priority in the Gorean mind over the ambitions of specific individuals. The welfare of a larger number of individuals, as the Goreans reason, correctly or incorrectly, is more important than the welfare of a smaller number of individuals."
-Fighting Slave of Gor
5. In the case of enslavement by any other means than contractual slavery, the PCoPK member will lose all status within the organization, but may, at their owner's discretion, apply to be recognized as a Physician Slave within the PCoPK. If/when freedom is attained again, he or she may apply to rejoin the PCoPK assuming all other requirements are met.
6. In the case of contractual slavery, the PCoPK member's status will be reduced immediately to Physician slave. If the member holds a chair, it will be vacant effective immediately. When the term of contractual slavery ends, the member will be restored to previous status, minus the chair held if applicable.
7. Holding a Chaired position within the PCoPK is not gender biased, with the exception of a free woman who still wears at least one of her bracelets. In all other cases, position within the Caste is determined by ability and consensus of the Caste by vote.
8. Basic Requirements for nomination to/retaining a Chaired Position within the PCoPK, the candidate must:
- Be sworn to Port Kar for at least two years (6 months RT)
- Be a part of the PCoPK for at least one year (3 months RT)
- Be active within the PCoPK and city
- Be reasonably able to commit the time necessary to perform tasks of the chair
- Be present at the meeting at the time the vote for that particular chair takes place
